As part of its commitment to helping donors make the most of their charitable giving, the Greater Houston Community Foundation has established a Donor Call Center. By dialing 713-333-2210, donors can gain access to GHCF’s grantmaking expertise or administrative services. Donors can receive answers to questions about fund activity, grants, contributions and other matters.
GHCF staff members are immediately available to respond to questions or concerns during normal business hours. Calls received after hours, on weekends, or on holidays will be returned the following business morning.
Our fund holders may enter a login name and password to view fund activity and send electronic grant recommendations to GHCF staff. Information is secure, updated nightly, and includes fund balances and information on contributions and grants made. Investment results are updated quarterly.
Fund holders may contact Judy Everett, Donor Services Director, at 713-333-2210 or jeverett@ghcf.org to obtain their login and password.
For assistance with grantmaking or matters related to their funds, donors are encouraged to contact Christina King, Donor Services Manager, 713-333-2210 or cking@ghcf.org You may click here to print a grant recommendation form with instructions for submitting.
GHCF has information on file on many nonprofit organizations, and our staff maintains an involved, informed presence in the Houston nonprofit community. Also, the internet offers a variety of resources for researching nonprofits, including:
- Guidestar.org provides information about who the nonprofits serve, their budgets, staff, needs, success stories, and much more.
- Give.org is the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance, which offers guidance to donors on making informed giving decisions through charity evaluations.
- www.bbbhou.org is the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan Houston’s website, which contains reports on local charities.
